AURA7’S SUSTAINABILITY PROMISE
Aura7 is a brand with purpose. From mindfully-sourced fibers to being members in the Eco Packaging Alliance, AURA7 is intent on pushing sustainability’s boundaries by using the most innovative, eco-friendly technologies every step of the way.
Did you know that fashion is one of the biggest sources of pollution on the planet? The fashion industry produces twenty percent of all wastewater and ten percent of all carbon emissions, These trends are only getting worse: We need a change.
SUSTAINABLE FABRICS ARE HOT!
One of our buttery soft, high-end fabrics is made from ECONYL yarn, which is a 100% regenerated nylon yarn derived from discarded fishing nets, and other nylon waste. Another yarn, Amni Soul Eco, is made from reused materials and is also biodegradable. Most nylons take more than a half-century to decompose, but Amni Soul takes less than three years in the landfill.
Both materials are made with green technology, as well, utilizing methods that reduce water and energy and decrease the environmental footprint of the end-product. And it doesn’t stop there: everything we do, from shipping materials to the labels and hangtags, incorporates recycled and/or biodegradable materials. All our pieces feature shape retention, UV protection, excellent coverage, and provide a perfect fit with extra comfort. Aura7 is on the cutting edge of research and constantly utilizing the latest technology and eco-friendly techniques. Relax, we got this.
Aura7 is proud to be made in the USA in Orange County, California. We personally oversee every step in the process and ensure that every person involved in the making of our garments is treated fairly in a safe workspace. The Aura7 team is one family, one tribe.

THE TISSUE PAPER AND THE STICKER
Eco-friendly by nature.
The paper itself is FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified and also acid free.
The ink is soy based made of soybeans, a renewable resource. Soy inks have low levels of VOC’s, reducing air pollution during the drying process.
The FSC or Forest Stewardship Council certifies that the paper products that make up our custom printed stickers are sourced from a forest and supply chain that is managed responsibly and sustainably. FSC forest management standards are developed at an international level, and are then adapted to individual countries’ legal, social, and geographical settings, through national standards.
Acid Free Paper
Our paper stickers are made from cellulose fiber where the active acid pulp is eliminated during processing. The pulp is also lignin- and sulfur-free, meaning that our ink won’t transfer from the stickers and the paper won’t leave behind any of these chemicals when decomposing.
Soy inks are an eco-friendly alternative to petroleum-based inks, made from soybeans, a renewable resource. While soy inks are slower to dry than many inks, the process produces more vibrant colors as well as having the added benefit of not leaving behind petroleum based products when decomposing. Finally, soy inks have low levels of VOCs, reducing air pollution during the drying process.
Our compostable mailers are made from a combination of PBAT, a bio based polymer which is compostable, and PLA which is made up of plant materials such as regular field corn and wheat straw.
The bags are certified by TUV Austria; meeting American, European, International and Australian standards – including certifications for your domestic home compost.
